Replacement Key and remote

    2015 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB, 4x4, V6 (first was 2017 taco, actually 1987 single cab toyota then 95 T100)
    Ok so its been a month with my new/used 2015 Tacoma. The dealer sold it with only 1 set of keys/remote so I ordered a set thru Tom's Key and rented a programmer. Key part worked great but remote would not program. I contacted Toms and was asked for my VIN #. They said my alarm was "after market" so it wouldnt work. Tom's guarentees they will work so I returned the remote for refund. I then ordered a remote off of Amazon for 16 bucks and followed instructions I found on youtube. Worked like a Charm!

    So rather than pay a million dollars at Dealership, Toms key cost 20 for key, 70 to rent programmer then 16 bucks for remote at Amazon. Thought I would pass on this info in case it hasn't been posted before.
