I removed those annoying stickers on the sun visor.
It would seem that 3rd Gen cup holders are too small for my insulated coffee cup, and the water bottle holders are too small for my insulated water bottles.

12 cup/bottle holders in this truck, and they're all useless. :frusty:

For whatever reason, Toyota designed them for disposable cups and bottles, instead of making them a little more versatile.

I've found a 3rd party replacement for the automatic transmissions cup holders. Does anybody know if there's a similar replacement for the manual transmission cup holders?

I think the manual cupholders are part of the middle console, so if someone wants bigger cupholders they would have to print out the whole middle section piece. I've been hoping one of the 3d printing enthusiasts here would give that a shot lol

I haven't been able to find any. I think the problem is the opening in the center console is the same width as the cup holder so there isn't any room for making it wider. The auto there was a little more room to print a wider opening.

Oh, interesting. I just assumed it was a separate piece under the chrome ring.

The opening is the same width as the cup holder, but it's tapered slightly. The cup fits in the open, but goes in less than half way, and is really wobbly. If they had just made it straight, the cup would fit perfectly.

I bought this cup for a reason. After spending this much money on a truck, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect cup holders that can handle a rather small travel mug.

It's looking like the best solution. It actually looks really good! I'm just not sure it'll be comfortable.

I'm just a little frustrated. I LOVE this truck, but after driving it for a week, I feel like Toyota really dropped the ball on a lot of things compared to my old '09... especially on the software side, but also in the cabin design. My list of mods is growing by the minute!

I should have checked to see if was a speedster pics or not when I had it apart to do the short shifter. I would assume by the two different textures of plastic it’s likely a separate piece.
Yeah, I have a manual to so I know exactly what you’re talking about. I have the same problem with my mug in the morning as well. Luckily, I have another one that does fit.
I wonder how comfortable the chalk bag would be as well. It just seems like it would be in the way all the time.
