I looked at a dozen Walmarts near me and they all say "Not available at this store."

So while Walmart may be everywhere, the batteries are not.

 

I've noticed they have been out of AGM's at my store also.
I thought they might be back when someone posted about them being made in Korea, as mine from three years back was made in Mexico.

 

Just wondering if the group 35 would be ok for someone in the south? Same here looking for the Wallyworld AMG in 24F. But finally found one nearby, supposedly...

 

Well, if you have your heart set on one of those AGM's get in line. They have been very scarce at Wally World for a long time. But their plain old vanilla lead acid 24F Everstart Max is a damn good battery and was a great damn deal at least before all this inflation kicked in.

 

ahh the battery that has 7.62 volts and is a 39 group size.

 

They sell out fast, but they have them. Dozens of wally worlds available to check. Mine was made in Korea.

 

Get a Deka, their made in the USA and military approved.

 

Flat rate. You haven't seen what some Toyota techs do when assembly engines.

Airbag recalls. Get done in less than 30 mins and book pays 3hrs.
How do u think some techs make over $120k.

 

During the 2nd Gen frame replacement program the senior techs were lining up to do the swaps. Book paid for 40 hours and a good tech could get it done in less than 30. Or so I was told by the Service Director at the time.

I'm done with wally world batteries. I had them up to 2 years ago for my tractors, and boat....they don't last. They are not the same quality they once were. I now went with Deka, like i've been using in my trucks. So far zero issues with the deka's. You get what you pay for.

 

Pick the one with the best warranty.

'prolly Costco or Walmart

 

Wally World went from 1 year to 90 days on the last battery I bought there. If you have a battery failure during the warranty period, they only cover the new battery for the remainder of the original one.

 

That's good to know zoo truck. Looks like it's Costco for the win!
