I let my brother borrow my truck and when I get it back the push button is broke and falls out. So, I try to Macgyver it together with super glue and screw the whole damn button up. My question is, has anyone replaced theirs? I found them on ebay and I am just looking for some advice on this.

first advice would be to not let your brother drive your truck anymore :D haven't had a chance to take a good look at the button itself but sometimes you can get it on ebay though that can be hit or miss. you can always check one of the part dealers that have OEM parts. might get lucky and not get charged an arm and a leg

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about but the a/c switch button in the dash is a very simple mechanism. You simply just pull it out and slide it back in.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. How simple are we talking?

As simple as pulling the old one out and sliding the new one in.

    Literally.

I feel the need to pick on you when I see your posts about removing things from your truck. Sorry!

I broke two clips in the entire process of removing and reinstalling my interior.

The little clip that holds the passenger side door rod to the handle and one on the upper trim panel below the rear window.

It was as easy as stated above. I never had tried to just pull the old one out. I thought the whole a/c control panel had to come out. I just took the AC bezel off and the old button came out. I then went to a salvage yard where they have a couple of wrecks and picked up two buttons for $10.

I did the exact same thing, I tried to fix it with super glue and got it stuck in the on position. So I bought a new one, takes only 1 minute to install. But now the new one won't turn the A/C on. Any advice on how to troubleshoot the problem???
