Has anyone local reinforced or replaced the inner fenders? I'd like to take a look at what was done because it looks like I have another item on my to-do list with cracks just starting in mine.

I don't mind really and I had a lot of fun over the years leading up to this. I knew it would happen eventually and I hope I've caught it early enough that the core support isn't totally trashed but I haven't had a chance to inspect closely.

Worst case is I buy the JD fab inner fenders but they aren't inexpensive and that's just one more thing cutting into funds that we have allocated to other things like maintaining our old house that seems to like sucking up the money I want to use for fun stuff.

JD Fab? You should look into some products his cousin JB Weld makes.

We added a dog to our family a few months ago so naturally we now have way too much shit to bring camping and the Tacoma was extremely cramped. Found this nice trailer on marketplace. Guy custom made it from an old 80’s step side bed. Fully boxed frame, Lock n roll hitch, Trailer brakes.

Already got a rack so I can move the tent over to it.

Hey folks, looking for some local knowledge. Anyone driven out to Lone Mountain, west of Eureka? I’m taking 50 across the state as part of a road trip, and every time I’ve been by there I notice the road heading to the mountain and wonder what condition it’s in. Never had time to check it out before, but I will this time. Looks mighty sandy (obviously) but just curious whether I’d be getting in over my head traveling solo with a stock OR. Want to avoid getting stuck in the summer heat and winding up in the local obits. Any info helps!

If anyone in the area with a third gen would be interested in a back to stock swap (my suspension + wheels & tires, and could do sliders and lights if desired) for yours, shoot me a message.

Also selling a 2022 Pivot Firebird Mountain bike if anyone's interested in a high end MTB.

Hey guys. Moving my daughter into her grad school housing at UNR. Gotta say seems like 1 out of 3 Tacomas up here are done up. Maybe because it's a smaller city than us in L.A.

Either way, some great looking rigs.

It was indeed a buggy trail. I turned around when it turned into a 4 wheeler trail.

I found myself on some of those recently in eastern Utah with the trailer. Good times were had and I didn't see anyone else out there.
    IMG_9838.jpg

There was something big moving around in the brush but I made a bunch of noise setting up camp and it never came out into the clearing while I was up and left the truck and trailer alone when I was asleep.
    IMG_9829.jpg

When I was airing back up in the parking lot at the bottom of the trail a couple guys were unloading their sxs and came over to chat. They thought I was messing with them when I said what trail I just came off and informed me that it is a UTV trail. Makes sense now :D

In addition to the pin striping I picked up a souvenir.

Anyone know anything about this truck? Hit a co-worker this morning out in the Lemmon Valley / Cold Springs area and just drove right off like nothing happened. That pic is right before impact and right after.

Wanted to know if fuller “lake” had any water in it. Saw it on a map. So I’m like okay I’ll go. Go through the boomtown construction along the access road. My turn had a barbed wire gate. I only realized it was a gate not a fence 3 hours later when it was my only way out…

so I went up NF-100 10-12 miles and cut over where maps said connected to fuller lake. Yea well that connection was barely wide enough for a utility side by side… painful scratch noises for a whilee

    IMG_5844.jpg IMG_5847.jpg camphoto_758783491.jpg camphoto_1903590565.jpg camphoto_342241519.jpg

Might be time to learn how to do a minor buff/polish even though I don’t actually care about this truck on that level. But to build the skill might as well

TLDR: Fuller lake still has water and Dope Days Only (apparently)
