The air is bad enough on campus right now I can feel the ash or whatever it is getting in my eyes. Also if anyone’s selling any computer speakers with a 3.5 mm connection I’d be interested. Need something a touch more obnoxious for my dorm since room next door has no one, I can be as loud as I wish basically

In NW Reno when the wind was blowing around 9pm it was sand blasting your eyes outside.

AQI was saying 390. Seemed more like ~500 for a bit. Pretty nasty tonight.

Wonder if Home Depot/Lowes is running low on home air filters since they are having to be swapped out so often this last 2 months.

At least people can finally get some use out of their piles of N-95s if it stays this bad. lol

That wouldn’t surprise me. Last year I got my ass kicked trying to find some. So this year back in May I bought like 12. Didn’t help me much when my AC took a shit last weekend, but I knew my air filter wasn’t clogged

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Got up at 5 to take the puppy outside. Smoke was so thick down this way, and being half asleep, for a second I thought it was fog. Pup took a sniff and gave me the "I hate you."-look.

As much as my plans for the weekend are ruined, my home is still standing, I'm not living on a cot in a shelter, and my family is all safe. Bonus: I have an excuse to not dig up the stump out back.

Pretty sure he was muttering a different 4-letter word. Traffic seems pretty light at the garage sale. Face hurts like hell from 3 hours wearing n95.

I wish Home Depot or Lowe’s even carried my air filter size. Seems like nobody stocks 36x20. I just buy the bulk packs on Amazon.

I think the largest most of the retailers will stock is 20x30. We still have a good stock so I'm gonna need to grab a few and make a use of our in home air cleaners.

Anywhere local that has a spring compressor for sale/rent? Mine broke after adjusting the driver's side coilover  first time I used it too. I tried summit and they don't have one and my local oreilly doesn't have one either.

Good news is the air isn't as chewy as it was last night...still sucks and throwing off an orange glow though.

Have you tried using a jack under the control arm? That worked great when I changed the setting on my coils. I do have some of the threaded compressors, but hesitate to lend them for liability. Hate those damn things, scare me every time

I want to try it out myself just to see how well it works. Really need MERV 13 filters.

i liked these ideas I saw online. Would help to improve the airflow with the multiple filters. Or using a 2 or 3 inch filter.

Thanks. I think I have it where it needs to be. I have to go bomb around the desert and see. If it needs to come apart again I'll have to figure something out.

Having the right tool certainly makes things easier. Seems like there is a gap between $50 and $750 for spring compressor though.

I've got a portable spring compressor that should work for you if needed. I'll be by the shop a bit today if you wanted to borrow it for a bit Zack

Thanks Eric. I'm going to drive on the current springs a bit and see how it feels. If I end up having to swap springs I'll reach out.

Anyone able to recommend any orthopedic doctors in the area? Or ones to stay away from? I’ll have to check insurance but just curious. Was kickin a soccer ball around the quad w some friends and my problematic knee decided to bend to the left. Dislocated the kneecap, nothings broken. Might want to get some further inspection if this swelling doesn’t fix itself soon. Advil and ice are often right now. This dislocation was worse than the ones that would happen as a side effect from the surgeries I’ve had.
