Posted in the detailing section and didn’t get any hits.
I pulled the sticker off the sun visor and it left a ton of residue. Any tips or cleaning?(pic attached)

also on the opposite side on the flip up for the mirror I can’t remove the warning label off at all. It’s almost like it’s painted on. Any suggestions?(second pic shows the edge)

I used these to get it off. It takes several minutes of work. It left just a slight residue in the cloth and looks like a faint shadow now, but it looks better than the white adhesive patch.

Use a heat gun and wipe with a damp microfiber. You can't even tell that anything was there

Hair dryer for the patches on the visor, . I didn’t use a heat gun because it’s a little harder to control the heat. I’ve read rubbing alcohol a soft brush and microfiber rag will get off the leftover adhesive residue. I haven’t gotten around to trying it on mine. As far as the flip up mirror decals I used nail polish remover with acetone. A slow process but worked great. Just be careful not to get it on the visor material.

I used GooGone and GoofOff. They worked pretty well, but then I got a steamer. This is the way to go.

I can’t remember using any kind of solvent when I took mine off. I think I just used heat and moisture/steam and wiped it off. After the adhesive comes off the fabric will be ever so slightly depressed. I used a brush to fix the fact that the material was slight depressed/stamped. Now you would never know they were there.

I just can’t figure out how to they the labels off the plastic parts.

It is so much better with them gone, esp on the bottom side. For whatever reason, in cars with dark interiors, I continue to be distracted by them.

I don't think there is any hope for the ones on the mirror covers other than paint or vinyl. To be honest, it was mainly the ones on the bottom that had to go, but I did removed the small ones on the top.

I took mine off using a hair dryer and peeling it off. It left a nasty glue residue. I ended up using 91% alcohol, letting it a set few minutes, then gave it a heavy dose of the steam iron directly on the visor. Very pleased with the result. Any even see it any more. BTW, take the visor off the truck.

Easiest way is heat gun and tweezer or needle nose. Minimal residue left. I made the mistake of peeling them off without heat. I used small amounts of goo gone on a clean rag and an iron. Followed this with a bit of dean to remove the goo gone oil and smell. They came out great with no trace of decal or residue.

Sometimes a strip of gorilla tape will work to pull off the residue.
