A while back, I bought some Alpine speakers, but wasnt paying attention and bought some 6.5's that had tweeters wired to them. Hooked them up anyways, had tweeters in the back door. Too much treble back there. Sounded like shit. So today i cut the aftermarket tweeters out and used them to replace the stock ones. Now the rear speakers dont work. Is it possible to fix this without putting the tweeters back in the reae door, or should I just buy some 6.5's that arent supossed to have tweeters on them? I attatched a photo of what the rear speaker looks like now. I know I'm probably retarded for doing that, but I dont have much audio experience

They should work with out the tweeters, if you're not getting any sound out of them check the connections. You'll probably be better off just getting any pair of 2 way coaxial speakers for the back doors. I recently put a pair of those Type S's(that he had bought on a whim) in my buddies in his 350z, and he wasn't impressed at all.

The tweeters were probably internally wired in parallel to the woofers I suspect. If so, you would need to find where/how the internal wiring is and get that tweeter parallel link wired out.
