Remote start installed and now...TPMS

2021 SR DCSB AT.
Had remote start installed.
TPMS light comes on,and info center does not but only only when started via remote.
When I put key in turn to on position release parking brake and put in gear every thing goes normal. Any thing I should mention to installer?
Taking it back in this morning.
My bad it's not the ABS it's the TPMS light. Sorry for confusion.

 

Odd. I installed a PnP remote start and no issues. @N2DesignsInc may be able to help

For key start models you have to interrupt the TPMS system when remote started so that the key fob will still work to unlock the doors. The dash light being on when remote started is normal. As soon as you turn the Ignition to ON it should flash and go out.

 

This is how it operates, that’s normal. There is nothing wrong with your system.

Why?

 

That sounds normal. It's mentioned in the instructions when i installed mine. Tpms is on until i turn the key and hit my brake pedal the goes off. The remote start interrupts the tpms check until that happens.

Yeah that’s normal for the sr and sr5 remote start kits. Bc for some reason they have to tap the tpms wire to work properly

 

This. I had purchased and installed a remote start from 12v Solutions and then added the long range remote kit and it was crap. I returned the LRR kit but could not return the remote start kit as it was beyond the return/exchange period. Sold it and purchased a N2Designs with the LRR kit and it works fantastic. I sit at a desk on the 3rd floor and can start my truck 750 ft away without getting out of the chair.

i used the start-x remote start from Amazon i read really good reviews on the system but i had the same issue with the tpms but apparently its normal. with the sr5

 

If I lived anywhere (welp almost!) other than SoCal I’d grab one of these in a hot minute. *sigh*

We're in SoCal...summer is still a thing too!
