So I was gonna just throw in the double cab shelves I bought off ebay but decided to sound proof the back wall and rear pillars. Took like 2 hours and made a noticable difference in road noise.

I used Bquiet deadener (cheap dynamat) followed by 3m thinsulate acoustic insulation. Both of which I had leftover when from an old mistake (honda s2000)..
Stuffed some up in the frame behind the seat belt spool but mostly just lined the panels in the pillars.

The shelves steal a TINY bit of leg room from the driver side only. And fit so well that you could never tell it isn't oem from any normal viewing angle. All you have to do is remove the plastic trim under the rear window, and carpet that lines the wall held up with 4 screws. The shelves snap in and 4 bolt holes line up for some (m6x1.0) to secure them.

An easy job with a great return imo.
