This is stock suspension in this photo. No lift when I took this. I do however have my Fox 2.5 coilovers and extended travel rear shocks currently on the truck and the new Dakar leaf springs should be installed Saturday. :)

Really? I don't install wheels for a living but I was under the impression that the Toyota alloys that come with our trucks are hub-centric and the steelies that come on the SR/SR5 are lug-centric. No?

You can look at our Lug Nuts and see how they go thru the Aluminum Wheels to center.

Nice looking truck, glad to see what my truck will look like come Monday. I just installed my pro grill today and my new tires come Monday. I went with the Cooper AT3 4s tires. My 4runner TRD pro wheels have just been waiting patiently for the tires to arrive.

My SCS wheels are hub centric. From SCS website:
STEALTH CUSTOM SERIES WHEELS ARE MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR TACOMAS, FJ CRUISERS, LAND CRUISERS, 4RUNNERS, AND TUNDRAS. ALL OF OUR WHEELS ARE DESIGNED TO BE TRULY HUBCENTRIC. THIS HELPS ELIMINATE VIBRATION AND BALANCING ISSUES ASSOCIATED WITH USING AFTERMARKET LUG-CENTRIC WHEELS.

From google: aftermarket wheel rims can be divided into two categories: hub-centric, meaning the large hole in the middle of the rim is the exact fit for the hub on the vehicle, and lug-centric, which means the centre hole is oversized to fit a variety of vehicles

MGM is my second favorite color, it looks good but I wouldn't personally want it. I have no reasonable explanation for not wanting something I like.

Matte gray wheels would look good, along with other lighter colors for good contrast.

Nice tire choice. 3 peak mountain snow flake is the way to go, at least where I live. It was a big chunk of change to drop all at once but it was worth it when they brought my truck around at the tire shop with new wheels and rubber. You'll be grinning ear to ear once you see yours.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
If you define "pop" as "sticking out like a sore thumb" you are right! Oh well - "different strokes for different folks" Or "whatever floats your boat"! I just wonder if one would still like any of these after a couple of years?

    That’s the second “wrap” comment...

I know nothing about wrapping except it’s done in commercial applications. How would they wrap a mgm to quicksand or white?

Check on Instagram for username: @barb_the_taco They have the 17" TRD Pro SEMA wheels (I think that's what they're called) in silver and they reslly stand out against the MGM. Me personally really like the machined look from Method Wheels; either the Standard or the Double Standard. Hardly anyone does the machined look anymore! LOL

    A few minor things...
    Bronze is your friend.

I put Method Roost in bronze on my silver truck and it looks great.
