Recurring P0442 error code

    Reinforced front bumper and side bar step
    My 2002 Tacoma with V-6 330 engine gives an error code of P0442. This is 3rd time it’s happened. First time was an O2 sensor which I changed and fixed the problem for months. 2nd time was gas cap I removed and placed back on and it solved problem for months again. Now it’s back again and adjusting gas cap has no effect. What now? Thanks

    Sounds like you got an Evap leak...get it smoke tested
