You win a huge gash on the side of your truck! Sucks you couldn't have seen that happen and caught the person.

I had mine a few days, and 150 miles (120 of which was from the drive from the dealership). Sitting behind traffic at a light for a good half minute or so, and a guy smacks into the rear end pretty hard. Fortunately damage was minor. But that's got to be a record.

I worked at a Cadillac dealership in the late 70s. A guy bought a brand new Coupe DeVille. The dealership was at a major intersection in Hutchinson Kansas, 11th and K-61. It is still there. The guy pulled out onto 11th, drove west to K-61 a few hundred yards, started thru the intersection on a green light. A guy going north on K-61 ran the red light, hit the Cadillac right at the rear wheel and that was all she wrote for the new Coupe DeVille. That Caddy probably didn’t have more than 20 miles on it at the time. Our body shop sent our wrecker out to tow the car and it sat until insurance bought the guy another new one.

Someone on here was rear-ended before getting home from the dealership. He has a thread, I can't remember who it was.

White and silver are popular colors so there are more of them on the road. Black is also a popular color.

Back in 2000 I bought a brand new GMC Sonoma. Within a week, I had been rearended by a girl not paying attention at a light (scrape to the bumper), and less than a month in, I got hit by a drunk driver, which oddly enough, was on my 21st birthday (it was 11AM and I was driving to work). I paid 20k for the truck and they refused to total it out, even with frame damage and the rear axle bent. Didn't keep it long after that, and ended up losing my arse on the trade.

Not my Tacoma, but the CR-V before this truck - 2 or 3 days - can't remember. I was parked in my lot at work and when I came out for the day, my BRAND NEW car had been backed into - scratched an killed the wash fluid motor - WTF!! It had to be a co-worker, but no one fessed up. Honda fixed the motor no-charge, which was very nice of them. There really are assholes out there/
