I bought my truck over in Huntsville, AL as I couldn't get any of the local ATL metro areas to really take interest in the truck I wanted to order/buy. Anyway, this is my first Toyota while living in this city so I wanted to get some feedback on which dealership is the best for warranty, maintenance, accessory install work.

    Thanks!

None of them, dealerships suck at that stuff.

For parts I would go with Marietta, maintenance probably Marietta too, as for accessories I am not sure since everyone charges an arm and leg.

Go to Beaver Toyota in Cumming Ga. kind of a hike but good customer service and awesome facilities when you wait. They gave me the best price when I called around. In town dealerships are god awful.

I reached out to Beaver Toyota in Cumming this morning. Hopefully I hear back with better news than the Atlanta dealers!

Good luck. I’ve only bought from them.. not extensive work etc.

I hope you have a good experience as well

I got a decent price from Beaver Toyota on some OEM tube steps and the TRD Lift Kit so both of those will go on the truck there middle of next week. The Service Adviser I talked to seemed to know his stuff and was straight forward so that puts them ahead of the curve versus a few of the Atlanta dealers I called.

All suck. or I wish there was that service offered. Might have liked them better.

Go to McDonough if you want them to leave your intake box open and deny warranty.

Morrow will replace your clean filter for the dirty filter, remove clean filter from the vehicle. But they will do warranty stuff.

I'd suggest only going to a dealer for warranty work, and hope you don't need that.

Find a good independent shop to do routing maintenance you can't or don't want to DIY.

Attenting local car shows and events, then asking around while there will give you some starting points. Online reviews are ok if there are lots and lots of them (over 100) but otherwise, like CarFax, to be taken with a grain of salt, not as gospel.

I can second Beaver Toyota, just bought my new 2021 TRD-OR from there a couple of months ago.
Bought a used 2016 Avalon from them a few of years ago when they first open.

Both case I felt I got a good deal, didn’t even negotiate much. Normally when I buy cars, a week later I feel as if I could have gotten better deal as I shop after I buy. In both Beaver cases I never felt that way.

I went to Beaver to look at 2019 TRD-Sport, 11,000 miles for 34,900. Ended up buying 2021 TRD-OR for 37,900. They didn’t push change at all, I saw the 2021 and it was my preferred color (white vs grey). Had better options with Off Road stuff, Apple play, electric seats, etc.. plus I thought the 2 years difference in years, miles would make a difference in resale value worth the 3,000.
The 37,900 included the lifetime oil change car wash package they have, I live up the road from them so that made a difference

Just picked up the truck from there and all went well! Seems like a good group of people that work there.....in the Service Dept at least. The kept the truck a day and a half and gave me a loaner truck with no questions asked when I brought it in - new Tundra SR5 Crew Cab.

I kinda hate both of them. I have a defect on my steering wheel and both dealerships basically told me to kick rocks.

I have over 12 wrinkles/bumps on my steering wheel. I’ve had wrinkles since I had the truck brand new(I thought it was plastic wrap). Both dealers said no. Now I called Toyota and all they need is for the dealership to say that it is a defect and they will replace it. But both dealers suck at returning calls.

Can you post a pic? I'm curious what the bumps and wrinkles look like. Were they there when you bought the truck?

Yeah it was, I’ll get some pictures later on today. At the time I bought the truck, I was just happy to get another Tacoma because a 16 year old hit and totaled my truck.

I second Beaver, while in for oil change and under warranty
they put in a new battery when I did not know of a problem.
Avoid Nalley Toyota at all costs on my last Tacoma they left bolts off after replacing springs. Almost caused a severe accident at night in the rain with grandchild driving.
