Hi everyone. I’m looking to add BOTH front and rear sensors to my 2022 SR5 truck.

I often need to park in tight spaces.

I’ve looked online and don’t see any kit pop out. I particularly don’t want to drill holes anywhere. Cameras are nice but not absolutely necessary. Integration with panel is nice but not absolutely needed. Also, it should be relatively easy to install.

Has anybody installed or can knowledgeably recommend a kit that meets the above criteria?

    Thanks!

    Oh look, another mod....
I recommend you buy a vehicle that comes with proximity sensors that were installed from the factory, so they work properly and don't cause any electrical issues.

There's a reason for that. You want both front (which Toyota doesn't do on these trucks) and rear sensors, no drilling, and easy installation. I want to live in sin with Daisy Ridley. Both have about the same chance of happening. Your priority for needing this is probably something you should have considered before purchasing the trim level and options you purchased. Honestly, if it's that much of a priority for you then I agree with @Borracho Loco. Look for a vehicle that has what you want because I doubt you're going to find what you're looking for as a Taco add-on.

What you need is an “Anytime Front and rear camera kit” then you can use stereo screen to toggle the cameras and see how close you are.

This is your solution OP. It’s what I have and it works flawlessly.

Sensors are going to say “you’re close”. Camera tells you “two more inches buddy”.

Question on the Anytime or Germes kits. Since there’s no alarms how does one judge the distance? Is there some indicator or something?

The only place I can’t directly see, is the very corners of my bumpers. But I can judge well off of the rest of the bumper. I’m out of town now, but can get you some pics of my views when I get back.

Ahhh, you mean are there indicator lines? The back camera is what it is. Some front cameras come with digital overlay lines you can turn off or on. It’s probably up to you to measure them out to find exact distances. I just pull up until my camera says we’re about to kiss. I can usually get within 2” of a front parking pole without issue.

The only thing I got out of this post was a need to figure out who Daisy Ridley was. Hot, but a little too young for me. I'm a little more in the Elizabeth Hurley age range.

Not a Star Wars fan I take it. She's 30, so definitely too young for me, but I can dream :)

When I was a kid they were quite popular. Every mow and then I'll see a car with them.
