So after being rear-ended for the 2nd time in the past few months I am debating whether I should have my insurance shell out $800 to get my bumper cap and support bracket fixed for a 2nd time or just have them cut me a check for $800 so I can put it towards an aftermarket steel bumper.

The only problem is that I haven't been able to find an off-road bumper that's sonar compatible. I find the sonar is very helpful in preventing me from running over pedestrians since I have a bed cap installed which limits my rear visibility.

Does anyone have any recommendations for aftermarket steel bumpers that are sonar compatible? I haven't been able to find any so I'm not sure they even exist.

Yeah that's what I meant. The BSM sensors use sonar. Pretty expensive but the apogee one looks sick. It should be subsidized by my insurance though :)
