Hi folks. I’m one of the loyal Tacoma owners who finds the only flaw being the low front seats. I see a lot of seat risers available. I’m asking for thoughts, opinions and recommendations.
    - Thanks!

I find the stock seats too high.

Desert Does It Seat Jackers, done.

No brainer it made the seating position much more comfortable with the leg support. I'm 6'3" FWIW

Drove my 3rd gen 650 miles home when I bought it, and my leg fell asleep. Didnt have that issue at all with my 2G. Added the front jackers and improved the position. Later, added the rear seat jackers and find the new seating position very comfortable

Front jackers improved the drive for me, but still the seat is too narrow and causes issues on long drives. Made for narrow people or something, or maybe cross legged driving. Not sure.

I don’t see how seat jackers could improve much. Maybe more comfortable position but it would definitely jam my legs up into the dash and steering wheel.

I bought an off-brand of these on EBay. They work just fine. Still CNC machined aluminum and came with grade 10 bolts. I definitely prefer the seat angle with them. I had a Tundra previously, and it had the adjustment to bring the front seat up from the factory. I always kept that all the way up, so no surprise I liked the "seat jackers".

They make a MASSIVE difference. Get cheapo ones. There is no reason to over pay for an aluminum spacer.

    @BLtheP

They do angle up the seat.

I did notice on that one link that the seat was non-power adjustable.

Is this a concern for owners with Power Seats?

The lack of support was it for me too. Bringing the front of the seat up that little bit makes it much supportive in the middle of the hamstrings.

I would say the Desert Does It Jackers are worth a try, so many raving views.

...that said, personally I had mine in (front only) for around 2 weeks and decided I was better without them. For context, I'm 5'10" and have a 2020 (so power adjustable seat). With the jackers in I couldn't get the seat low enough, the leg support was nice, but they do raise the overall height of your lowest possible seated position. I found myself craning my next too much to see up at traffic lights and my truck is close to level, certainly less rake than factory.

For me I think perfection would be front jackers only, but at half the raised height that the Desert Does it Jackers provide.

I have the Desert Does It seat jackers and I really like them. I do a lot of long drives in the truck and I find that they make the seat much more comfortable. More support under your thighs, better seat position.

That being said I feel like it’s a pretty personal thing and really just depends on how you prefer to sit. They aren’t that expensive so I say just give them a try. If you don’t like them you can easily re-sell them here, they always go super fast when I see them up for sale.

Seat Jackers for the win. I love my seat now, I only installed the front ones.

I bought the Reno ones on Amazon a few weeks ago after driving my truck for 3-1/2 years. They come with the front spacers and 2 different size spacers for the rear legs. I drove my truck to CT from Maine 2 weeks ago for work and couldn’t believe the difference. I’m 5-10. Way more comfortable for me. Getting in and out of these trucks sucks anyway and I find the minor difference with the seat risers well worth the sacrifice. YMMV

it also gives you quite a bit more space under the seat for amps, subs etc if you’re into that stuff

Still dont understand why people need these... Im not even that tall; 5'11 and I think the seats are too high as they are. My knees are already pretty close to the steering wheel, and with jackers my knees would probably be touching the steering wheel. I think the seat are comfortable and fine the way they are:confused:
