    Hello,

I'm looking to get 2-3" of my lift on my 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro. I know a lot of people say don't or it doesn't need it but I love the look and stance. What kit and parts would you recommend for the 2-3" of lift.

    Front parts kit?
    Back parts kit?

I would do the coil kit with rear blocks if going for looks. Like mentioned eibach has one. There is a forum section with sticky on lifts

I did spacer lift, but should have done coil over since not much more. Do the control arm while in there to save on labor time. And money if having it installed.

edit, just saw you have a pro, why you want to mess with that suspension you paid for?

front bilsteins 2.5" lift, rear aal 2.5" lift, flowmaster 40 series muffler, kenwood headunit, ultraguage, allpro bolton sliders
Id avoid rear block, do progressive aal. I fought with axle wrap with 2" rear block..

Eibach makes nice stuff. I just had my Pro Truck 2.0 kit arrived yesterday. Obviously not for the Pro but the rear blocks are the same they offer for the rear of the Pro. 1" block would be fine. Anything more I personally suggest a leaf pack but an Add-a-leaf would work too.

Look, the way I see it, you’ve got a Pro. So go big or go home if you’re looking to change out the suspension. If you’re looking to “properly” get 2”-3” of lift here’s what ya gotta do. Get yourself some 2.5 shocks and coilovers (King or Fox whichever you fancy), aftermarket UCAs to push the caster forward so it with handle properly with the added lift/potential bigger tires, cab mount chop and a pair of whichever leaf springs you desire. Boom. Simple yet effective.

@Mastiffsrule I purchased it used, I love the suspension but the look is kind of bugging. I want it to sit higher than stock. I'm kind of regretting getting the pro because now I'm nervous to touch it. But I appreciate that feedback.

I did a 2" lift in the front, and used a 1" block in the rear. It's the same as what the OEM TRD lift gives you with warranty. I don't normally carry weight in the back, so I had no need for a AAL. I wouldn't recommend anything bigger than a 1" block in the rear.

Doesn’t the pro with fox’s already give you an inch over SR5, sport and OR? So getting 2-3 inch replacements would be 1-2 inches, right?

    Hey Skeletron,

    I purchased https://www.stage3motorsports.com/69-5530-05-20-tacoma-readylift-pre-load-spacer-kit.html

With your setup, it'd be better because it's not just blocks but will just give me lift and not negatively affect the fox suspension?

    Really appreciate the links!!

I don't think the kit you purchased will fit your truck. That looks like a kit for a non-Pro.

And yes that's the gist. The springs up front are designed and tested with your specific truck in mind. And the ride would likely suffer less with an AAL over blocks in the rear.

So with what you're recommending it'll give it about a 1.5-inch lift? I'm wondering if that's enough but If it's possible to not negate my awesome suspension I'm interested. I'm checking on the kit I purchased, I didn't see anything on there that said it wouldn't fit the pro.

If it doesn't say explicitly it's made for the Pro it won't fit. Your truck has 2.5" shocks and requires different parts from all other trims. I could be wrong here and I'm sure someone will tell us if so.

The Pro is already an inch higher stock so a 1.5" lift gets you 2.5" over a stock OR for example

You were right about that kit. It doesn't fit fml:duh:. Thanks for helping me out lol. I'm going to go this route. Concerning the UCA's, I was thinking of just sticking with the standard 265/70/16's to avoid having to regear my truck because of the fatty tires. Or is that not a big issue? I was just going to put some 1.25 wheel adapters on it and call it good. Thoughts? Are bigger tires worth the gas mileage/gear issue?

Yeah if you're cool with it I'd stay with the 265/70 or 265/75 to avoid the issues you mention

Take a look at these 2 threads. Both should pair well the aforementioned Icon AAL.

You can go up to 265/75/16 tire and not have too much impact on mpg and what not depending on the specific tire.

FWIW, I’ve done the Westcott Designs in the front, but just the preload collar and not the .5” top spacer. Along with the Icon AAL in the rear. I’m running 265/75/16 Toyo’s with KDMax tune and I have not experience any mpg loss.
