looking for recommendation on new headlight bulbs for 2013 taco. looking to keep same halogen style lights but just a little stronger light output than OEM. if there are good LED lights that would look the same too and not blind on coming cars i would consider too. if you can link any good headlight bulbs that you guys have tried.
    thanks,

LEDs definitely do not work in halogen assemblies.

If looking for a plug and play stock wattage bulb without going high power with a harness, GE seems to make the best performing ones, though bulb life will be shorter. In the H11, the GE +130 outperforms an H9 that is 60% brighter. The 2nd Gen takes H4s, the +130s are available in an H4, but GE just released a new +150 that looks to be even higher performing. I’ve ordered them and they should arrive any day now. Their test will be shared in the thread @Unchained 5150 linked above. That thread is everything H4 halogen headlights from high power with relayed harness to best stock wattage plug and play.

As others mentioned that is correct, plug and play. The GE +130 version should be much higher performing than those, but also much shorter life than the Philips +130s.
