Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
For the hitch ball - pull the pin, remove the ball mount & ball, store in the cab. You could always try a locking pin, but given the exposure to the elements you'd probably never be able to remove it unless you did so regularly.

Not sure what you mean by "lock for a trailer lock for the tire"

In before the incoming shitstorm about how easily defeated a combination lock is. It does a fantastic job of guarding my $20 UHaul brand stinger.

I've used fulton trailer hitch locks and truck receiver pin locks on my boat and sled trailers for years. I've always kept my spare trailer tire in the trucks bed when in use.

If you leave your hitch on for long enough, it'll rust into place and not even the force of God will be able to remove it.

Are you looking for a lock to secure the hitch to the receiver on the truck?

And a wheel lock for the trailer? Or a lock for the spare tire on the truck? Or a lock for the spare tire on the trailer?

You can find this type of stuff on RV websites. Many choices.

In my experience, the best method is simple. Remove the hitch when not in use, locking pin when in use. Ball lock on the trailer when not in use, remove the chains and tires. When trailer is in use, a lock on the ball lever.

Their all fulton's, the trucks receiver's 5/8'' pin looks like a rod going offset into a cigarette lighter...the coupler on the trailer is one of those gorilla trailer coupler locks, same for the couplers latch lock which appears made from brass. Their all over 20 years old...been with me on long sled trips and in ocean water. They still work perfect. If your asking me the model numbers...been too long to remember.

I just use a long lock on my trailer so it can't be stolen. I then use the same lock to lock it on the hitch.

    - Purchased used vehicle that receiver had never been removed from hitch
    - Could not get receiver out so soaked with PB Blaster every day for a week
    - Could not remove receiver by pounding with sledge hammer on back of receiver
    - Wrapped chain around tree and hitch ball
    - Receiver would not budge so removed entire hitch from vehicle
    - Put hitch in 60 ton press to press out receiver
    - Bent square cross-member that connects side frame mounts
    - Bent it back
    - Cut open square tube in hitch where receiver fits and pried apart
    - Removed receiver
    - Welded tube back together and found receiver would no longer fit in hitch
    - Took entire hitch to scrap yard and got $1.xx

Yes the pin was removed the entire time.

There is the detail to support the reason to remove the hitch from the receiver.

Its why i use a stainless steel receiver plug, and keep the male section and ball stored in the trucks cab. Been there, had it happen with my boats from loading, and unloading in saltwater.

I take the hitch out of the receiver. Takes two seconds.
For the lock, I cut the shank off an old ball, put it in the tongue of the trailer and then locked it with a padlock.
Sure, If the want to steal it they can, but it's going to take some effort.
