For only 30 bucks the Quantum 1800 Lumen Rechargeable from HF has been awesome! Used it several times last hunting season to track deer and it lit up the woods.

I was serching Olight here on TW and found this thread. I just received my first Olight, the Arkfeld Pro which seems great for the size. During my YT quest on Olight info I found this video and it is now on my list as a truck light. The holster, while proprietary (something I'm not a fan of), is the charger. It comes with a way to attach the holster to surfaces too.

I’ve been rocking a Fenix PD35 at work for the last 5-6 years and it’s been solid. Being oilfield and 12 hour shifts, I always catch some nighttime darkness and the need to look at something so I’ve always got it on me. Last week I dropped it and it stopped working. I disassembled it to find that one of the wires previously attached to the LED had broken loose. Bummed out I searched for a replacement and ordered a Nebo Torchy 2k. Not wanting a dedicated “rechargeable” flashlight and the fact Nebo bills these as using 18650 batteries, of which I have 5, I bought it. It shows up and come to find out it is an 18650 but some sort of rechargeable type that’s slightly longer than a regular one. Flashlight it OK but not as user friendly as my old Fenix. Looks like 3 dimes stacked and heat shrinked together may take up the space to allow regular 18650 usage. Complete bummer because when I need a hot battery I need it. So much easier to pop in a freshly charged one than waiting 2-3 hours for one while the work continues in the dark.

I keep one of these Klein lights and a o light baton 3 as well. Love the Klein I use it all the time, bright swivel head, magnetic with an carabiner clip and in a pinch you can charge your phone off it. I have 3 of these, one on the fridge in the kitchen, one in the truck, and another in my work tool bag great lights. I’ve ran them over by accident after leaving it on the tire, dropped off ladders etc and no issues.

Spotted this one on Amazon for $17 for a short while but now it’s back to $40. Reviews were decent and I ordered it. Arrived today and it’s not a bad unit. Uses a conventional 18650 battery and also has a built in USB-C charge port near the head. Length is shorter than my old Fenix PD35 and build quality/feel is on par with the Fenix. Claims 2000 lumen and is very bright indoors when turned up. Has 5 brightness settings and the lowest can fool you to think it’s not even on in a lit room. I can see it being an advantage if snooping in extreme low light situations when you don’t want to be seen and after your eyes have adjusted. This will be my new work go to for now.

Also, 2x dimes stacked will take up the space for the Nebo Torchy 2k and it works with a regular 18650. This one will be a truck light.

Your light probably uses protected 18650's. The protected ones are a little longer than the unprotected

Yes. But it was not mentioned in the description. I assumed it was because of the internal charger.

I second this one. Works flawlessly, the case can be plugged into the USB port in the truck, it puts out a small thermonuclear detonation's worth of light and it's a tough little bastard.

I'm not actually sure it's a bastard but it's tough nonetheless. It can also fit in that weird little pocket above your regular right front pocket on your Levi's.

I have a couple that stay in the truck. This what I use on all my trips. They cover all the lighting needs. For the large camp light I use the Devos which I like more then the CVT UFO light.

Flashlight is Streamlight ProTac HL Rechargeable or Plain batteries. Sitting in a High Speed Gear single Taco pistol mag holder on the DD Mount

Black Diamond Rechargeable Headlamp, I recommend if you buy a headlamp make sure it can do white light and red light. The red comes in super handy at night for the bugs. Also, comes in clutch during night ops where you don't want to be seen. The red minimizes your movements to the enemy.

This thing rocks, Gear Aid Carabiner Light light kit. Has a red light also and the white light is super powerful for its size.
