So today I happened to glance at my passenger rear tire and I noticed that my rear tire had a very slight wobble. I checked it out and it happens at all seems and doesn't get any worse or better at different speeds. Last week I change my brakes so I'm thinking that maybe the tire was put on a little sides ways or something. I checked all the bolts today and they seemed to be tight but I only checked them with my hands. I also checked and the tire is not cupped. The only think i did with the truck is hit a curb in a parking lot but it wasn't anything crazy. Is there anything else I can check? Also I won't be able to take the tire off till Thursday so I'm wondering if it's okay to drive to school and work?

    Thanks guys:)

Get out the lug wrench and make sure they are tight. It's your life, don't be lazy. Use a star pattern.

I assume him being a student he might not have one. Any kind of wrench is better than fingers, but torque wrench if you can. 83 ft-lbs.

Just check the lugs and they seemed to be tight, none of them seem to even be slightly loose.

I'm willing to bet either bent rim or out of balance.

Stock wheels or aftermarket? Hubcentric or lugcentric?

The tires are Goodyear wranglers. I'm not sure what the rim is but it's aftermarket too.
( sorry just boughtThe truck). And I believe they are hubcentric but I'm not 100% sure!

One of the weights on the rim is chipped a little but not more than an inch. I wonder if this can throw it out of balance?

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I was towing my boat once and happened to look back to see one of the trailer wheels had a massive wobble to it. Stopped in at Les Schwab and they took a look at it...and then told me it was a good thing I brought it in because the tire had separated internally.

I'd definitely get this figured out and taken care of ASAP before something catastophic happens.

Yeah I didn't drive my truck today. I'm gonna put it up on the lift tomorrow and check it out and see if I can get it figured out. If not I guess I'm gonna have to take it in

    best wheel bearings around! www.marionbumper2bumper.com
Swap front wheel with rear. If the wobble moves, it is most likely a bent rim, or really bad tire. If wobble remains then you may have a bent axle or axle housing flange.

So I switched the tires around and the problem is still true to just the right side. So I'm guessing it's an axle problem, anyone have an idea of how much this will cost me?
