So I upgraded my speakers. No, I was stupid and didn't do a sound check on each speaker. I'm dumb.
I bought these for fronts https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20647KSS69/Kicker-47KSS6904.html

    and these for rear https://www.crutchfield.com/p_575R1675X2/Rockford-Fosgate-R1675X2.html

I had to do some modifications of the wiring, to run the harness from the tweeter input to the crossover.
I got this harness included with the setup

I was sent this pic to alter the harness so it would work with the other (front) speakers.

I conncected everything and if I put the sound full rear, I get the highs, but low/no bass out of the speakers. I would assume they'd have the ability to pump out sound, but they sound like garbage.

Here is the crossover that's included
    crossover.jpg

Also got harness to go from factory wiring to speaker.
I went and took apart the rear doors again, and swapped the inputs but to no avail.
    Still sounds like garbage.
    Any thoughts?
If I had a speaker wiring diagram I could troubleshoot it, but I have no idea if there's one out there in the wild.

I did cut the harness provided and capped off the unused end of the loop, then connected them to the cross over woofer outputs.

After doing some looking, it appears the rear comes directly from the HU. So stuck with crappy sound unless I want to amp it.

Rear speakers get about 3 watts of power from the radio. Your new speakers probably sound even worse

    They really do. lol

is there an easy way to connect the factory HU and speaker wiring to an aftermarket amp?
    easy = plug and play.
I can do the total rewire, but would like to get something premade and ready to go.

Call crutchfield. They have solutions to this problem. Dude actually laughed and knew I had a Tacoma when I told him the issue.

honestly the rear speakers even with moderate power never sound great.

imo, the rear speakers are a waste of money/effort.
