    Hi,

I'm somewhat new to lifts and modifying suspension, but I'm currently in the process of replacing my leaf springs and I've decided to go with OME EL112R the heavy duty ones since I'm not going to be doing baja-type driving and still would like to tow.
    https://www.4wheelparts.com/p/arb-old-man-emu-leaf-spring-heavy-load-el112r/_/R-BHWQ-EL112R

It took me a while to figure out all of the different options but now I'm a little stuck seeing all of the options for bushings to use with it:
    https://www.4wheelparts.com/b/suspension/leaf-spring-bushings-pads/_/N-cm5id

So my first question is, can someone explain the different bushings to me? For example, what's the difference between OMESB108 and OMESB30? Or Energy Suspension gives values like 1.2101R or 4.2102G for their bushings. My first thought is it can only do with the stiffness of it but I'm still not certain.

Also, If it has to do with a performance aspect, can you give an example of where one would be better than another (perhaps in the towing or offroad context)?

Finally, can you make a recommendation on a bushing kit to order with the EL112R leaf springs (preferably OME, but doesn't have to be).

    I appreciate any help!

FYI - the original poster (OP) hasn't been on the site since 2021 so you probably aren't going to hear back from them.

I don't have OME leafs so can't speak from experience, but when I was shopping leaf packs there were lots of reports of that brand having bad squeaking. Not sure it ever got solved, but if you haven't ordered the OME leafs yet you may want to reconsider.

Lots of other options available out there that don't squeak. Alcan, Deavers, Dobinsons, Archive, etc.

How can you tell they haven't been on in that long? Just from their last post? Would be good info to have. All the questions I'm having on my newly acquired taco have been part way answered but 2-5 years ago
