How do I know that it's full? Do I pre-measure according to the manual? Or do I stop how I'd stop for a transmission fluid fill (when it start seeping out the fill hole)?

I have always filled up until the fluid drops out of the fill plug hole

    Bingo.
Park on level ground, remove the FILLER PLUG FIRST, drain fluid, refill until it drips out the filler.

Squirt or pump it in until she's dripping ;)

Needs a trickle out of the fill hole. Make sure truck is level.

As a side note, 15/16 also works if you don't have a 24mm like me..I mean my friend.

Actually a 15/16 6 point had the best snuggest fit.....

    a 24mm actually rounded mine a little......
