Rear Bumper on 1999 Pre Runner

Just moved from a gen 3 (gave it to my son) and bought a 1999 PreRunner. The rear bumper is rusted around where the trailer ball goes and I want to replace it. Not going all out like I did with the 3rd gen, just wanted a beater around town. I have a trailer hitch so just need a bumper, What do you recommend?

I’m in the same boat, gonna just get a black replacement from eBay.

 

A piece of 3"x5" x3/16" rectangle tube off the scrap pile make some brackets and paint.

Install it took longer for the paint to dry

I really hope you have a real small trailer if your towing from the factory bumper.

 

It has a frame mounted trailer hitch.

 

Bought a scratch and dent one for $140 from these guys.....
