    ABS sucks.
Howdy! Does anyone have the part number for the big ~3" o-ring that goes between the axle flange and the bearing carrier?
    Thanks!

I know prices have gone up but $ 8.00 for a o ring.

They Have kits to make your own.

Are your o rings completely destroyed my local Napa stores can match them if anything is left to match.

    good luck.

The whole ideal was you should be able to go by your local toyota store and pick one up...

If you cant then a $10 ebay one may be your easier option.....

You could always try to make one out of chewing gum....
but risking a $1000 rear differential to save a couple penny's...

If you get rid of the truck and get a bicycle.....you can save a ton of money.....

i would bet you never find those O-rings in stock for a truck that old.

Not when it is easier to make your own or pull them out of the shops master kit of o-rings

Glad I saw this. I'll be needing these. Probably try to get the local auto parts store to match them.

Thanks for all the replies! Just needed the part number for that o-ring to be able to double check against the local dealer. They've screwed up my orders before. Not sure what condition the ring is in right now, but since I'm going to be replacing the inner shaft seal, might as well change the o-ring while I'm there. Passenger side went out last year, and this year is the driver's side time to fail on me...

I have found unless it is a budget issue do both sides at once.

On our older trucks those O Rings the first time it comes apart they never get replaced.

Every one wants back on the road most people have no idea they are on there at all.

Training your dealer parts people can take time. The parts manager would tell me when his vacations were as to not order anything. to avoid all the returns.
