These are the photos I wish I could find when I was searching for rock sliders, specifically RCI.

I wanted heavy duty rock sliders to protect my truck off-road that I could also use as a Hi-Lift jack point. As a bonus I wanted door-ding protection while mall crawling, but it was very hard to determine if these would truly provide that with the 20 degree angle - I'm happy to report these do indeed protrude just enough to protect from trashy people dinging your doors.

No issues with shipping. No damage. The powder coat finish is nice and arrived intact.

Installation was relatively simple and these securely mount to the frame itself. Feels completely solid and good mounting hardware was provided.

I'm happy with the dimensions and coverage. Only thing left to do is go scratch them up.

    Thanks as always, RCI.

    *Minor Update*

On the driver side, there is a small "fuel pump control module" that mounts to the inside of the frame. It looks like this:

RCI provides longer bolts as a solution; however, some models (such as mine and the one depicted above) apparently have permanent bolts affixed to the bracket that cannot be swapped out.

One of the provided 7/16" x 1.5" bolt(s) for the sliders/frame happens to mount directly underneath this bracket, pushing it out just far enough that it "high centers" the entire module and you can't thread the nuts on the other side once you go to reinstall it, which would be unstable anyway.

So I ordered a slightly shorter 7/16" x 1.25" bolt, which is just long enough to get through the frame without pushing into the underside of the bracket.

Just FYI if anyone is having a similar issue or wants to pick up a simple 7/16" x 1.25" bolt in advance to avoid this.

Was this a change that happened to 22 and later?

Also thanks for this post, it is hard to find photos from all these angles to determine if the kick out comes out too far.

Thanks for the heads up. Picked up the bolt today. Problem solved.
