    Had a snugtop with the 500 lb capacity installed Saturday. Put the load bars on that afternoon.

    The tent will overhang the front and rear quite a bit so I went with 3 bars instead of 2.

    How close to the end of the rail would you be comfortable setting the feet? Right now they’re 2” from the end, but easy enough to move.

    Spreading the load as far as possible make sense, I guess I’m worried about stressing the end of the rail too much

    Well, for the high desert, that barely showing mountain is over 10k. Sandia Mountains in New Mexico. Named after the pinkish hue during the sunset. A must see, come during the first week of October for the balloon fiesta. You won’t be disappointed!
