I’m wondering if it’s possible to install raptor lights on an oem grill.

Is there an adaptor out there I can buy?

Can I make one myself ?

    Thanks!

I think you'd need to make your own bracket. I'd recommend using a 1/8" sheet of ABS plastic.

Great truck. Plenty of kits for 20-30 on Amazon.

Don't know if you consider these "Raptor" in the OEM grill, but this is what I did....

Yep, DIY. Took the grill off and spent a weekend plotting/planning and wiring.

I used the same ones (I just bought directly from Oznium though). If you do go this route, get them through the Oznium site, they are cheaper than Amazon, even with shipping: https://www.oznium.com/led-bolts-prewired-leds/premium-side-view-led-bolt

I don't have the OEM grill, but the process should be about the same. The Oznium lights are great because you can barely tell that they are there when off.

I fab'd up a bracket that I attached to the inside surface of the grill with adhesive that holds the lights. The bracket was just a piece of galvanized 18-20 ga. flat bar (maybe 2 inches wide) that I drilled holes into to put the lights in the exact position I wanted. There wasn't enough space to get the holes where I wanted them on the grill itself (at least for my faux-pro grill). I painted the holes and any other cuts I made to prevent rust, as those surfaces are no longer galvanized.

Been on the truck 4+ years, no issues. Here's my post from when I originally put them on:
