I’ll be wiring in my raptor lights this weekend and I wanted to tap into the fog light fuse rather than the low beam. I wanted them to come on with the parking/fog lights but if it shouldn’t be done that way low beams are fine.
I have a 2017 trd off-road, morimoto xb fogs, hid low beams, led DRL (that I don’t want to tap into)

    Has anyone done this?

Just tap the purple wire going to the drivers side parking light with the positive wire from the raptor lights as it’s already fused.

I just AAF to headlights since my fogs arent ever on without my them, and no wire cutting.

Thanks. I wanted to avoid any cutting/piggybacking wires if I could though.

Yea that's what I was saying I was going to do and was wondering if people have done it, and if so any issues?

Yeah with a add a fuse your gonna need a switch to control the lights...tapping the purple wire doesn’t require a switch your headlight stalk is the switch and it’s already fused the purple wire doesn’t need to be cut to tap btw.

I have an add a fuse for mine and I don't use a switch. Mine aren't tapped into the fogs though.

Are you talking about using a T-tap for the wire?

Also, if i fuse tap into the fogs, they would be my switch right? I don't want them on with the DRL's, and since my fogs come on with parking lights that's fine with me.

I just grabbed juice from the passenger side corner lamp.

LEDs draw so little power than you could easily tie into the positive lead to one of the fogs. Simple.....no other modification needed.

I think I used add fuse in low beam. I test my fuses the fog light and DRL fuse has constant power.

Used AAF with low beam like others have mentioned but I changed that once I installed my switch panel. Switch panel runs on the same AAF since I only have lights hooked up to it. I figured the only time I would need additional lighting is when my headlights are on anyway.

I tapped mine into the tail lights using an add a fuse. Ran the wire through the firewall into the fuse panel under the dash

Runnin4Tacos makes a nice adapter for their harness that connects them to the DRLs. Cleanest install hands down.
