1" Toytec body-lift, K&N filter, coolant by-pass, mesh cotton screen delete, TTBS, WeatherTech in channel visors, 2.5" Rancho full suspension kit, Oil Catch Can, Toyo 285/70 A/T-2's, 21.5" light bar in grill, blacked-out grill, de-badged entire truck; and again, more to come.....
I regret this kit. 2 months ago, I talked and backed Rancho somewhere in this forum, and now I see why people call them cheap.
1st: There is no adjusting with the simple use of your fingers......
2nd: It's more like 3 adjustments all the way around, except the rear got 4 and 5
turns, but not without putting gloves on first...
3rd: Cheap gasket, and adjustment knobs. C'mon Rancho, after 39 or so years in
    the business.....
4th: Not 2 mos after installing, (4WheelParts) shocks are already rusting.....
5th: The valves that allow the actual adjustment for the shocks were also already
building up some rust that prevent easy adjustment.....
6th: I'm now hesitant to keep the UCA's on, as I'm afraid to find out how they will fail me down the road as well.....
Ok, so I should've gone with Bilsteins, as that was the original plan. Now, I see Fabtech now offers a 2.5-3" kit with UCA's..... Anyone have any thoughts or actions I can take, or at least try??

i googled rancho 2.5 tacoma lift, just clicked the first link, as im not familar with the kit. but you might as well keep the UCA's on and swap to bilstiens if you so desire, or just run what ya got on a setting that is comfortable. even some high dollar coil overs will develop some rust every now and then.

i had Kings with the adjustment knobs front and rear. i think i adjusted them once to find a happy medium and never touched them again.

EricU, thank you my Taco-Bro... I can sleep easier tonite... The storm has now passed so to speak.... I feel better, but I've spent $1200.00-plus and really can't justify buying more shocks 2mos later. I'll look for the new Fabtech kit soon to come, as I no longer want anything to do with Rancho. I was once a firm believer in their product. Oh well... There go my replacement bumpers for another lift.... Thanks again EricU

The price, and all that the kit included was all that was required to prevent vibrations, be it driveline, or steering... Almost all was lowered except the sway-bar... Such a good kit ruined by the shocks mainly.....

yea, run it till it dies then buy something good. Rancho is junk, if you go down any bump roads you can fade the shocks in mins lol.
i would also stay away from fabtec. look at the normal names you see in this site.

All this just to lift my Baby-Vader.... (I had a blacked out Silverado on a BDS 6, 20's and 35's) That was Vader, now I have Baby-Vader..... Just to get my truck lifted because stock is too normal.... (Sigh!!!)
