    It’s a functional scoop.

I have nothing nice to say about the pros or sports running around with a fake scoop.

If IIRC one of the chief engineers of the Tacoma stated on the reason the sport/pro hood is non functional is due to the amount of air in the engine compartment.

Idk if that’s a bunch of narwall poop but he explained it in a way that made sense.

    Nice looking hood !!!!

If it's a lift off hood you'll need at least (10) DZUS fasteners to hold it down

For what 1-2 more HP if i'm going 100MPH. I'm sure there's someone out there will to spend the coin on this hood and the labor to have it painted. At best they'll have about a $1000 into it for what amounts to nothing. It sure will look pretty in the Applebee's parking lot hear that big Camry 3.5 Thunder. One might as well throw some cowboy cacklers on it it's the new mating call for true alpha males.

If it is a full lift off hood see what the hood weighs , lightweight hoods don't have adequate inner bracing/ structure it'll easily begin to crack

My hood on the car in my avatar is a race weight lift off fiberglass bubble hood (think street Outlaws) , that only weighs at most 15lbs . The bracing or inner structure is 2" wide 3/4" rubber strips . I can usually remove the hood by myself but if the hood has been subject to the bright sun or heat from the motor it'll flex alot

I've heard cracking sounds while removing it after it has been warmed up
