Has anyone used this stuff? I used it today and it’s a mess. The glass is covered in what looks like a greasy residue. Full of smudges. I can kinda push the residue around but I can NOT get the glass clear. Any tips?

I know some “glass sealants” can be hard to remove, but for a “cleaner” this stuff is… not perfect. The glass is clean but cloudy.

I ended up using CarPro Eraser. It got 95% of the greasy mess gone. In the right light i can still see streaking. But it’s not noticeable while driving.

This specific Rain-x product is horrible!! Used it on my truck one time and could not get the smudge/haze to go away without completely cleaning the window again with a degreaser.

Has anyone tried letting the RainX sit for awhile, Like a synthetic sealant dwell time?

I know some sealants left behind a oily mess of it doesn't sit long enough.

I used to use old Rain X rub on and polish off for glass and found I really had to wait for the haze. Not certain about this new product.
I do use Rain X washer fluid and it is all I will use in three rigs.

I use Murphys Oil soap, water, rubbing alcohol and a little lemon juice. Works great when used with news paper and for the inside with tint it has never been an issue in the 35 years I have used this mixture. I swear by it but other glass cleaners I use that are in a can is Castle, its the absolute best glass cleaner in a spray and in a liquid spray bottle is Sonax for off the shelf. I still like my own mixture.
