I have had my AVS in channel for 9 years. I have no complaints and they are still doing their job.

I just installed some AVS in channel, we like them. Also got a AVS bug deflector. Not crazy about the looks of it but if it’ll keep stone chips to a min then great.

I have the AVS in channel. They were cheaper than weather tech and available locally. I'm happy with them.

Was thinking about getting the Avs in channels. I had the weather techs on my 13 f150 but they scratched the window up where it rolled and constantly tripped the auto down feature for about the first 2 years. They finally molded good enough after a while to auto up but you could still hear the window motor working harder when they went full closed. Are the AVS thinner this not causing the issues mentioned above?

I have no issues with the AVS and the auto up feature on the windows. No scratches at this time either.

I did AVS in channel, no regret, no issues, no increased wind noise and no scratching. I did wet sand and polished out the AVS markings. I did this to the bug deflector 2 which has helped a lot in the war on bugs. Highly recommend both.

I went with AVS and it hasn't been an issue for me. It's really nice to be able to crack the windows at work here in Texas too. The truck is SO much cooler when I come out in the afternoon! Honestly, I think both brands have worked out any of the kinks that they may have had. I think either will be a good purchase, just pick based on what look you like better and the amount of coverage/protection you want. Just dry fit them prior to make sure you don't have to clean up any corners that may make contact with the window and you'll be golden!
