Hello my radio and some lights were not working. I found a blown fuse replaced it. The dome lights work now BUT the radio still does not work. Any advice on what to check next.
    thanks

check the wiring on the back of the radio, power wire grounding out might of taken the fuse out or the radio failed internally and took the fuse out before it burned down

Well looks like radio finally took a dump. 23 years of good times. Time for an upgrade I guess.

You can find good ones on eBay if you want OEM . . . replaced mine for $125. You have to really look and get one that doesn't show wear, most of them are salvage yard units. Look close at the model number in the faceplate, it may look like the exact one but the faceplate numbers will tell.

I put an aftermarket head in my wife's RAV4, with backup cam, she likes it but there are reflection issues, I'm glad I just replaced the OEM.

As easy as it would be to find a replacement OEM radio on ebay, a modern headunit with fancy features like bluetooth, backup camera, and carplay/andriod audio makes a huge difference in modernizing these old trucks. I've almost always had an aftermarket headunit, but man, the jump from a single din Alpine aux in/bt unit to the double din touch screen with carplay and backup camera made the truck feel 20 years newer.

Ebay or Car-part.com would be my suggestion for OEM.

Otherwise take the time and upgrade the head unit and maybe some speakers with something from this century and get a little better clarity and sound quality while youre driving it.
