Ordered the Energy Suspension - 9.4101G (Radiator support cab mount bushings)
    to replace the stock bushings.

They do feel much firmer than the stock ones.

The top bushing was a bit of a bitch to get out, but once they were out the new ones slid right in with no sweat.

This is the thread that turned me on to them.

I had no idea! What did your factory ones look like? I'm gonna check mine out tomorrow.

Why make a thread about it in General Automotive?

Mine were not actually that bad. The factory rubber is quite soft though. And the washer on the bottom is very smaller.
The new ones were much firmer with a much larger washer at the bottom.

You linked it in the OP, and I saw the pictures. I'm wondering what mine look like! Turned to dust by now?

    I already ordered the kit.

    Thanks.

You linked the thread in your OP. It's a 2nd Gen part, it goes in the 2nd Gen section, or possibly suspension. General Automotive is an Off Topic chat, non Tacoma.

Alternatively, if you have a build thread, that would be a good spot.

The point is we don't need everyone making a new thread for every little part you order or install, this forum is bloated enough, just bugging me lately, don't take it personally.

    Oh I did. My bad.
Let us(or me) know how your originals look, Crom.
I just got back from a little drive. I do notice that there is a little snapping going on from there now. Thinking it may just be something that will settle, if not I will pull them out and put a thin layer of grease on them.

    Thanks.
I know when I search something I like to find multiple view points on the topic/product/item. I don't think many people would find these in my build thread and I didn't see that anyone has posted up about them, so I did (to be helpful).
I think ~50% of "the bloat" comes from unrelated Tacoma topics. Which I somewhat enjoy also.
Thanks for your time and suggestions. Noted.
Hope you have a good day.

You put a link to the thread in your first post.

That was for the cab mounts not the radiator.
    Thanks.
