So the drain plug that was in my radiator broke and I’ve tried every possible way to find a replacement with no luck. The part that is supposed to be for my 2000 Tacoma is the opposite of what it needs. I even looked up the part number on the radiator and it shows the same plug that I already have. What it needs is the type that has the threads at the bottom but the suggested part has the threads up top. If anyone could help it was be greatly appreciated

Try to glue it back together and take a pic, then do a Google search using the Google camera. Or look all over the radiator for a model number molded in the plastic , search that way instead of by your veichle info.

There is suppose to be a gasket I'm assuming a rubber gasket on the small end. Even if someone has one and can send me a pic so I will know what kind of gasket goes on the end. Toyota isn't any help they have no idea. I've seen the same drain plug on line for a jeep and a 2001 dodge, but no pic of the end where a gasket goes.Very much appreciate anyone and everyone's help.

Just reread the OP post. D'oh! He's needing the aftermarket plug for what's likely to be an aftermarket radiator  Nevermind

Na it's not the same , I looked up the number in the plastic at the top and apparently this radiator is used in many diff vehicles, including jeeps and 2001 dodge, I'm going to have to scour the pull apart places. I just to put my motor back together and I can't till either I buy another radiator or find some sore of gasket for the plug. It will have to be able to handle the heat from the radiator. PA66-GF35 is the number on the radiator. Thank everyone for their help, much appreciated
