I have a Passport 9500ix radar detector in my 2018 Tacoma. I connected it with a blendmount style bracket and tapped into the power from my rear view mirror for the detector. The issue I have now is that the passport app on my phone is no longer integrated to pass information about current speedtraps and cops etc. Does anyone know of a way to integrate the app information without using the power cord? I hate having the wire dangling down from my windshield and it lets thieves know there is a radar detector in the car. IMG_1013.jpg IMG_1012.jpg

The 'Escort Live' app sucks. Are you a premium member? I think you have to be a premium member for those features to work.

It works when I plug the radar detector and phone into the cigarette lighter with the USB port.

Do you have Bluetooth? Is it properly configured? I'm not sure about your model detector. Is it Bluetooth capable?

There is a smart cord live item listed on my Bluetooth list. Ill see if it connects later on when I get off.
