WOW, an amazing guy…. I hope he is with the sister he never met…. That truck had a mission, it helped save lives….I like the idea of this truck being in a showroom. If an inanimate object deserves retirement, this one does. At the rate I am going with my gen 3…. I will be a 185 years old by the time I reach his mileage.

Awwwww man what a neat story! F$#K Cancer!

Doing amazing things and being a genuine guy.

Those 2nd gen 2.7's were damn near bullet proof. Im curious as to the parts replacements over the years? Was that original motor and trans?

I believe original transmission he replaced the motor at 880k (head gasket blew) he said he could have replaced the head gasket and went for the million all original but wanted to make sure he was back on the road reliably for the sake of the patients so he went with a used motor that had about 100k

I hope they give his wife a truck she needed one he stated

Based on the math, I believe the engine the truck currently has is around 700k while the original lasted 800k. The 2.7L in the 3rd gen is the same, I believe.
