So four months later and a few thousand miles later how are they doing?

First I still like the tires. If nothing is around when they wear out I’ll probably go with them again.

With that their whole riding on the crown to reduce noise is a bit stupid. Which I was expecting. The crown is gone and they sound like a new mud terrain. So less noise than a true mud terrain and less noise than you’d expect, but they are not as quiet as day one.

Have you had any issues with on-road traction now that they have some miles on them?

Everyone seems to agree they are decent off road and the -02 version fixed the weak sidewall. I haven’t been able to find much about how they behave on pavement over the long term (for a mud tire).

It looks like they have twice as many sipes as any other mud tire out there which makes me think they would be relatively decent in the rain and snow.

I have about 18k miles on mine and they are starting to wear out very fast and are getting pretty loud. I could probably get about 25k out of them before they need to be replaced

Do you have the originals or the MT-02’s?
