Does anyone know if a rigid industries light bar will fit on the cali raised brackets? I'm wondering if I can install a rigid industries light bar without having to do any trimming.

I love the Rigid light bar number 46568 except for one thing. And it's not the price. I think you get what you pay for. However, what I'm not comfortable with is the cutting of the lower grille and having the mounting bracket and nuts exposed while the light bar is inserted in the opening. I fear a would-be thief could loosen two nuts and cut the cable and run off. Is my fear justified? Mounting behind the grille would provide a bit more protection against stones and such being thrown into the light besides the added security. Anyone try a different mounting method for the Rigid? Like the Cali Raised mounts? If the lights are very close in dimension the Cali mounts should work.

The dimensions are very close but not exact (at least on the 30" / 32" light bar). I'm gonna go ahead and try it out. If anyone knows for sure that it won't work please let me know.

I installed the 30 inch Rigid Radiance with amber accent back lighting (Rigid part no. 23004) BEHIND the grille. No cutting and the bar is secure without fear of theft. My mounting method was unconventional but it worked great for me. I cut nothing, not even the air dams. Wired it for independent operation of the LEDs and the backlight and allowing LEDs to operate alone or when high beams are selected.

Got it in there and used the Cali Raised brackets. Here's a picture (don't mind the dirty bumper):

How did you mount your switches that control the bar and backlighting? Got pics?

I used the useless cubby hole left of steering wheel. I did overkill on the switches. Could have gotten by with 2 but used 3 thinking I was being creative. Didn't like the switches that came with the Radiance so I bought three ways (on-off-on). One switch was supposed to turn LED section on independently. Another was to wire it to come on with high beams. Then the other was to control only the backlight. I don't use the independent one but since it was already installed I just leave it off. You can get by with the ones that come with kit but I didn't like the round ones. Anyway two switches will do.

Can you provide any info on how to accomplish this? I’m set on the 30” RI midnight bar and want to avoid cutting if I can...your brackets are great and I’d like to make it work!

Amazon has the RI 46568 Kit on sale for $665 right now. Looks like it is direct from RI. Get it while you can.

    a few...
Well it’s been awhile but I finally a picture of my 30” Rigid Industries led in stand still action. We were in way upnorth Wisconsin where I had a straight 2500 foot dirt roadway to use for a picture. This is a regular E-series RI led bar (flood/spot) before the Pro series came out last fall...~14500 raw lumens. Just the one light bar on, no headlights and/or fogs.
