That's why I suggest use bootcamp, instead of fusion! I do try parallel, vmware, but best part is use bootcamp with separate partition, and best part they are not share any resourse, so will run way much better!

OP - Don't get sold on Graphics memory size. Anything past 1 gig is a waste unless you're running super high resolutions. Personally, I love my ASUS G73. It's a goddamn tank. Nvidia GTX 460M overclocked to 815mhz/750mhz/1630mhz from 675/625/1350. Running super stable, no issues.

And the I7 is excellent. 2.0 quad core but will overclock to 2.9/3.0 depending on the tasks you're running. 3½hrs battery life. Nothing but perfection.


My desktop though puts this thing to shame. And it's 2-3 years old...

 

Yes; however, I prefer Lenovo (especially when the company is paying).

wing103 does have a point, doing a dual-boot config is another option. I have no experience with it, as I have a PC I use for work and then a Mac that I use at home for manage my media library.

I prefer Mac's overall, but unfortunately, I'm stuck using at least one PC until the end of time due to the slim chance that my banks will ever move over to an all Apple infrastructure.

Well, yeah they are a Korean manufacturer IIRC.

 

I believe the HQ is in China, but they have offices everywhere over there - they even have a Corporate office in North Carolina, I believe, FWIW.
