Question regarding pop-up on multi-information display that I cannot find in the manual.

I've had my truck for a couple of weeks now, and on my last drive, I got a pop-up that I've never seen before. It happened twice and didn't stay up for very long at all—at least not long enough to snap a picture of it.

Anyway, I'll describe it the best I can. It popped up right in the middle of the screen under the speed. I'm assuming it's what the manual would describe as a "suggestion" or "advice" message.

It showed a road, with a solid orangish or maybe yellowish (can't remember for sure) line across the top of the road, with what looked like a curved arrow going left.

I have no idea why this popped up and I can't find what it means anywhere. Any guidance on what this could be would be appreciated.

The road looks correct, but the sign does not. It didn't look like an actual sign. It was just an arrow curving to the left. Also, it had a solid orange line at the top of the road, as if it was detecting something in front of me (I guess) but there was nothing close to the front of the truck.

 

This is interesting. That is part of the display is PDA/DRCC/PCS related. Wonder if you have the latest coolest firmware since you just got the truck. Haven't seen it when I drive and doesn't show in current version manual.

I was confused also because I drive the same route every day and today is the 1st day I've seen it. Also, like you I couldn't find it in the manual anywhere and not really sure how to recreate it to take a picture.

It has Safety Sense 3.0 like ours. Which makes this curious.

 

I don’t believe that’s what popped up on me after looking at it. If I can recreate it I will take a picture and post it here.
