6k for that damage? Find a new shop to do your body work. If you went with a conventional repair they can grind down thru the paint, weld a few tabs and pull most of that damage out. Then a couple of hours to repair it back to how it was. Slap a new flare, trd decal and stone guards. They dont have to blend your can corner because the bed to cab corner is a couple of inches its a break where your eyes wont see a significant difference in color.

If you replace the bedside is $600ish new from toyota and it bolts on in like 4-6 hours book time. Refinish it and add the small bits and pieces and your good to go.

A GOOD PDR person will know how to get that out and make it look brand new. An insurance company isnt going to think to PDR that lol.

Lot of good comments here. Will have another shop look at it Tuesday. Some of the Youtube videos on PDR are damn impressive, but its art craft for sure.

Get the shop to give you a printed estimate and post it in here. I can take a peek at it. Im familiar with the autobody industry… Ill let you know if its in line or inflated.

If it were mine I would only let full bedside replacement done.

The actual quote is for $4600 not $6400, and this includes some $$$ for wheel damage, so not 6K. My dyslexia.

i took a look at the estimate it looks inline for what I see in the photos. $4600 seems more reasonable than $6k

Yep. Second shop also immediately recommended bedside panel replacement, so that's what is going to happen. Really hope they can get the painted matched and will post the before and after photos once its done.
