Quad Lock makes a pretty neat phone case/mount system, but I want to use it with the Expedition Essentials TPAM, so I needed it compatible with a 1" Ram ball.

    I purchased:
    Ram ball, threaded https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006RKF1X8/
    Coupler https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005KWPJ04/
    Ball mount https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002KO5XVU/
    Wireless head https://www.quadlockcase.com/collections/accessories/products/charging-wireless-charging-head

I already had the misc hardware.
    Button head 1/2-20 screw
    5/16 washer
    1/4 fender washer

I also already had the phone case, but they also make a "universal" mount for any phone/item.

Start by disassembling the Quad Lock charger body. It's held together by 4x torx screws. A T6 driver made quick work of them.

Note the size of the plastic boss inside. This is why you'll need a low profile screw head. I found out that a socket head cap screw will not work, as it takes up too much room.

    You should have:
    Screw | 5/16 washer | Body | 1/4 fender washer | threaded ball
Assemble these tightly. You don't want the ball to be able to rotate at all inside the mount, or your phone will not attach/detach easily.

Then reattach the two halves, and install as appropriate for you.

I wish they would offer this from the factory, but not yet.

Looks good man! Seems like a pretty simple change. Kinda make me want to switch up phone mounts.

It would likely work. I would just look into the wattage/voltage needed is first to make sure its the same and then you could just rewire the worthless stock charge to power the quadlock.

I will be looking into this..I think it’ll be great to activate the charger using the stock charging switch.
