Bought the NSK bearing/hub and installed passenger side today.

Had previously upgraded to the 4Runner 14WA calipers, rotors, breaks 3-4 years back with no issue. At some point during the hub change today, the seal for the caliper piston failed. The only replacement was a 45 min drive each way so I could only do the passenger side. I did not change rotors or pads, not needed at this time.

After installation of new hub/bearing and unfortunately caliper, the car pulls pretty substantially to the left under moderate to hard breaking.

I was going to wait and post this after I did the driver side in case it solved the issue but figured you guys might know something I don’t.

Did you not rebuild the 14WA calipers prior to install?

Either you have a brake issue, or need to do an alignment.
An alignment is recommended any time the suspension is messed with. Including a wheel bearing.

I would rebuild the calipers. See how the bores feel inside and if the piston slides in easily. Special grease for the seals. Clean and lube needed points within the brake system to help things move freely.
To see if it's sticking you can watch for long term uneven pad wear, early pad wear, or drive without braking then coast to a stop and quickly aim a temp gun at the rotors to see if one is excessively hot when it shouldn't be, to indicate a stuck brake

Or, lift it up and try similar, seeing if one wheel stops itself too early

I don't know if there's better ways to diagnose it. I hope so. Because the drive and coast to neutral thing is a pain.

    Could be a few things.
    Bleed brakes better.
    Bad new caliper.
If 4x4, axle nut torqued to spec?

+1 for axle nut not torqued correctly or maybe it wasn't before. I've done at least 6 of these and only seen the issue once... it was the axle nut

I’m waiting and hoping to see if doing the driver side resolves the “imbalance”. Could be an alignment issue. Maybe I will find out more when I do the driver side.

The caliper I put on was remanufactured from Autozone. Considering doing a new caliper on driver side in case the current one isn’t in great shape, but only been on a few years.

    Axle nut is to 174.

If you just replaced the passenger caliper and it's pulling to the left under braking I would be looking at the passenger caliper - doesn't sound like it's doing its share of braking, hence the truck pulling to the other side. Check the lines aren't pinched too.

yes, did consider that as it makes sense. Lines were pretty straight and bleeds very well so good flow.

The first thing I'd be looking for is excessive heat. Excessive heat = resistance / friction. If you find it, start digging deeper for what's causing it.

Also have to mention there were no perceived issues before hand. Was only changing hubs/bearings because I broke a lug off quite a while back.

Replaced driver side today and the issue resolved….brakes fine and seemingly even. No pull to either direction. Must have something to do with having one new bearing vs an old one with more drag….

Always a good idea to replace things like brakes, shocks, bearings, etc. in pairs. That said, if the bad one was causing that much drag, it must have really been bad.
