Has someone found a proven mud flap that looks simple yet performs as well as the high dollar offerings? I'm new to the scene and could use reference of good sites for Gen2 parts and accessories. Rock On Tacoma lovers!

I had Husky mudflaps on my truck for a while (still have the rears on) after I got tired of continually ripping the stock ones off.

They are universal fit (so you need to drill some holes in the flaps to line up with the holes on your fenders/line) and no frills, just rubber. But they do the job well.

+1 for RokBlokz, they're on my fronts and have done the job well for years.

"Buyers Products" 12"x18" mud flaps from Amazon. They are heavy duty rubber, and flex better then the plastic ones. I had the OEM ones but when you come down off a rock or small ledge, they can snag easily. I removed the plastic captive nuts from the fender wells and used bolts for the mounting. No cutting or trimming required. Just line them up how you like, drill holes, and bolt them up.

I have the same bumper - used some 1/4"×1" aluminum and attached to the factory bed support mount on the bed side, and drilled behind the flare, then attached some big rubber commercial flaps from my local parts store. They hang just low enough to catch the rooster tail off the back wheels.

I had some in the Warfab thread, which got nuked due to whatever. When I get my truck back I'll try to remember to snap some for you.

Recently bought these custom fit husky ones for the 2nd gen on eBay. About $85 after taxes. They’re pretty good thick quality. Just think they might need a yearly UV protectant coating though
