Proper timing for 2GR-FKS M/T crank angle sensor plate?

    Hey all, first time post, could use a little help. I'm reinstalling a flywheel and clutch and yadda yadda, but part of that whole assembly is the crank angle sensor plate. Is there a particular timing for this thing? The manual doesn't specify one so I'm inclined to guess there isn't one, but wanted to ask here before I end up in the nightmare scenario of having to tear all the way back down to the flywheel if I get it wrong.

    I'm on Step 5 "INSTALL FLYWHEEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)" on this section of the manual:

    There should be a dowel or such on the crankshaft that aligns things. No?

    There sure is, found it as soon as I actually looked at the stupid thing…

    Here’s the alignment pin and the recess on the crank rear face, for any future wonderers:
