Blue Ridge Overland Gear Off Road Air Tool Kit Bag - Item 21AB

I don't know about you, but one of the first things I do after getting to the local offroad area is air down my tires, we all know the reasons and benefits of airing down tires so we won't get into that here. But what about when you are done for the day and need to head home? For the people that have On Board Air (OBA), that usually comes with other equipment needed to be able to air up after a day of hitting the trails. Right?

So, after installing the ARB CKMA12 Single Air Compressor into my own truck a while back to activate the rear air locker along with having an easier way to air up tires after a day of wheeling, I also had acquired the ARB Tire Inflation Kit, ARB Tire Inflator, ARB E-Z Deflator, and the ARB Speedy Seal Puncture Kit. Having somewhere to keep all of that in one spot that was easy to find, grab and go, and kept everything organized became needed. Plus I like organization a lot and reducing clutter when on trips! This is where the Blue Ridge Overland Gear Air Tool Kit Bag comes in, to provide a perfect place to store pretty much everything you need to air down and up, repair tires, and more.

I have owned the ATKB since November of 2017 and I keep it stored behind the rear seat on the drivers side as it is a perfect fit there, would also fit on the passenger side as well.

    Product Features:
    • Made of 500D Cordura, same as my Tool Bag so will last a long time I suspect!
    • Has two large rubber zipper pulls on the main compartment, still easy to grab while wearing gloves in the winter
    • Two large Velcro pockets on the front that are easy to open, one holds the ARB Deflator in its case and the other stores the Inflator
    • Adjustable outer harness on the back holds the ARB Speed Seal Tire Repair kit
    • High-visibility orange interior liner: good for seeing stuff at night or placing tools, spare parts, or valve stem caps so you don't lose them as needed
    • Includes a 4"x12"x2", clear, string-reinforced vinyl front pouch that fits on the inside, there is plenty of space for another pouch there if you want to store more tools that you may need in this kit. I usually keep the small parts from the ARB Tire Inflation Kit in here along with a pair of Colby Valves, a, adapter for air mattresses, and other random things that I may need for the air compressor like liquid tape or spare parts for the air locker line.
    • Has a large mesh pocket that is used the hold the airline and includes a slider buckle that can used with a piece of Velcro if you really want to secure it.
    • Includes a piece of Velcro for an ID panel if needed.

Everything that I store inside the bag:
(Yes, most of it is ARB Products that I have bought over the 3 years of owning the truck)
    • ARB Deflator - ARB505
    • ARB Inflator - ARB605 (No Longer Available)
    • ARB Tire Inflation Kit - 171302
    • ARB Speedy Seal Series Tire Repair Kit - 10000011
    • Colby Valve Emergency Valve 2-Pack
    • Air Head Air Daddy Universal Adapter
    • Other miscellaneous parts, liquid tape, etc.

    Pros:
    • Stores everything I need for airing up and down my vehicle or others, plus repairing tires on the trail if needed.
    • Easy to open outside pouches and main compartment with gloves on.
    • Expandable if needed with adding another pouch on the inside to keep more spare parts or organize it better if needed.

    Cons/Suggestions:
    • One of the main issues I came across was that if you roll the airline up and store it in the mesh pocket as one coil it makes it harder to close the bag, so you have to spread it out like I have pictured, helps keeps the bag flatter and not as bulky. Honestly, instead of just the buckle and velcro, an actual flap closure for the airline pocket to me would be preferred instead.
    • Would really like to have the ID Panel Velcro on the other side of the bag which I consider the "Front" of the bag instead of in the middle of the back on the outer harness. This would make identification easier if I was asking someone to grab the bag that said Air Tools out of my truck
    • One of the front pockets can be a little awkward at first to close if you are putting the Inflator in it, it will make the pocket bulky, so be sure the put it to where the gauge is pointing down. This could be fixed by changing this from a dual pocket to system to a single pocket with a flap possibly, this would allow the inflator to lay more flat in the outside pouch.

This is one piece of gear that gets used anytime I hit the trails, from airing down to airing up and if you are someone that needs a central location to store all of this type of equipment, I would recommend the Air Tool Kit Bag to you without a doubt.

*Feel free to suggest any improvements or items to add to this Air Tool Kit Bag*
